Utilizing guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Washington State Department of Health, the Alderwood Water and Wastewater District office is CLOSED for public access.
Please review the notices below regarding payment, assistance and all AWWD operations during COVID-19. We realize these sudden changes may present obstacles to some of our customers, but we remain committed to helping support our customers in these uncertain times. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SERVICE CONNECTION CUSTOMERS: For safety reasons and to limit confusion, contract/vendor appointments will not be scheduled from Saturday August 1st through Tuesday August 4th. The District will resume contract/vendor appointments on August 5th.
The Snohomish County Auditor’s Office is slated to use the Commissioners’ Boar room Saturday August 1st, Monday August 3rd, and Tuesday August 4th for the primary elections with a set up of 12 voting stations. The west parking lot will be used as a staging area for citizens to park and wait to be notified when it is their turn to enter the building and vote.
Governor Inslee has issued Proclamation 20-23, pertaining to Utility Ratepayer Assistance and Preservation of Essential Services.
Alderwood Water & Wastewater is committed to keeping our customers connected to essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. If you are experiencing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible for support, including long-term payment arrangements or bill assistance. This Proclamation does not relieve customers from the obligation to pay for utility services.
