Pay Rates
We conduct salary surveys to keep pay competitive with other government agencies. Each job has a pay grade and there are seven pay steps in each grade.
Union Contract
Most of our workforce is represented by the Washington State Council of County and City Employees Local 1811-A. Our Collective Bargaining Agreement, or Union Contract, is renegotiated every three years.
