The Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (the District), in cooperation with regional Everett Water Utility Committee (EWUC) and local measures, participates in the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) Conservation program. The Water Conservation program goal is to educate the public on ways to conserve water resources and to better understand the role that water plays in our daily lives. The planning requirements are established by the Department of Heath and Washington State law. Washington Administrative Codes (WAC) 246-290-810 and 246-290-830 require the conservation goals be re-established every six years in a public forum.
Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (AWWD) needs to hear from you!!
It is time for us to update our water conservation goals. We have drafted proposed goals for the next 6 years that are focused on AWWD conservation efforts. We need your comments and feedback on the proposed goals.
