The Administration, Technology, and Finance Department provides important internal and external services to the District from technical security to fiscal management.
Staff in our administration work group provide internal services to the district from managing office supplies and equipment to managing phone systems.
Alderwood’s (IT) department provides IT support for the District’s computer network, including the operation, maintenance, upgrade, and repair of network hardware and District employee workstations. The primary responsibility of the IT Department is providing a safe and secure networking environment. Additional responsibilities include the day-to-day operation of the network datacenter and servers, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), office machines, and software applications.
The Finance work group is made up of several teams: customer service, accounting and finance. The Finance work group is committed to robust financial policies that encourage conservative fiscal management, and to ensuring sound financial administration by providing timely, accurate, and transparent information in support of our mission.
